Living The Parisian Dream Part II
I wanted to take a reprieve from story telling to actually
share the images from the trip, which was the purpose of it all to begin with.
Michelle and I did a 2 day shoot. Day one was at the Homme Museum, which was
the popular spot for tourists and even locals to take pictures at. We started a
little late on day one. We were still trying to recover from jetlag, which is
why we had a hard time getting up early, which was the original plan. We
thought we could get up at 5:30 am to try to reach sunrise at the Homme Museum.
But it was just impossible. Our bodies just couldn't handle it, especially with
only 5 to 6 hours sleep since we got there. Remember we were up for a good 36
hours the day before?
Anyway, there were a lot of people when we arrived. Hannah
wore a grey and sliver fitted gown with feather trim for the sleeves. It was a
shame we arrived late, the place was busy! I wasn't sure how I was going to
edit all the people out, which is why this set took me the longest to edit. Not
only that, but there were wood panels on one side that covered half of the
Eiffel Tower. I guess our timing was a little off. But nevertheless, the images
turned out great!
We were lucky that despite there being rain in the forecast
for that day, we had a little bit of sun in the morning. Towards mid day, it
started to become a little overcast and it eventually started drizzling. We
were at the Louvre in the afternoon, and we started to feel raindrops touch our
skin. Hannah wore a pretty blue satin dress, paired with a white coat and
floral purse made by Cascade Queen Designs. She looked very dainty and
beautiful, she was even approached a couple of times by local French men who
started talking to us to help improve their English. Our Uber driver even
wanted to ask her out on a date, but we were leaving in two days!
As our trip was coming to a close, we had one last
assignment. We wanted to take a few sunrise and elegant evening looks by the
tower. Michelle and I even had a few images taken of ourselves. Are you
kidding? We weren't leaving Paris without pictures of us by the Eiffel Tower!
Here's the first batch of our sunrise shoot! We all looked ooooh la la!
